Faculty of Pharmacy Belgrade officially accredited

The National Accreditation and Quality Assurance Body for Higher Education (NAT) has issued a Decision on Accreditation of a Higher Education Institution, confirming that the Faculty of Pharmacy in Belgrade, Educons University, meets all prescribed standards for operation as a higher education institution. The decision was made by the Commission for Accreditation and Quality Assurance at a session held on June 2, 2026, and the Accreditation Certificate is valid until June 2, 2033.
What does accreditation mean
Accreditation is the official recognition that an institution meets all the standards prescribed by the Rulebook on Standards and Procedures for Accreditation of Higher Education Institutions. Through the process conducted by the Review Committee, the fulfillment of all 13 standards has been confirmed, including:
- the main tasks and goals of the institution,
- organization and management,
- quality of teaching and non-teaching staff,
- space and equipment (a total of 1,360 m² of teaching space, two amphitheaters, specialized laboratories, a computer laboratory, and a library),
- research work,
- internal quality assurance mechanisms,
- funding sources and public engagement in the work.
Significance for students
For first-generation students, accreditation means that all degree programs offered at the Faculty—Pharmacy, Pharmacy—Medical Biochemistry, and Cosmetology—are legally recognized, and the degrees awarded are fully valid in accordance with the Law on Higher Education.
